Matrescence
/ məˈtrɛs.əns /

The developmental transition into motherhood. Like adolescence — but with no language for it, no roadmap, and no one paying close attention.

Why this matters

One fifteen-minute visit.
Then nothing.

Most mothers receive one short follow-up around six weeks postpartum. After that, the system closes the file.

But most of what changes after birth — your hormones, sleep, hair, mood, body, and sense of self — happens beyond that visit.

And most of it goes unaddressed.

You are told it is normal. That it will pass. That you should feel grateful.

But between being cleared and feeling like yourself again, so many mothers quietly fall through.

What we're building

Care that finds you
wherever you are.

Matrescence Concierge is building a new kind of postpartum support — one that helps mothers understand what they need and where to go next.

No endless searching.
No guessing alone.
No waiting until everything feels too heavy.

A guided path back to care, clarity, and yourself.

The founders

A friendship, then a platform.

We met through our kids.

We didn't plan to build a company. We just needed somewhere to go.
